I think the respect comes from giving Chicago their first winning season since 2018, and their third in 15 years.
I have the mental state of Caleb williams
I will tell you now, it all falls apart several times. Chicago is on a rollercoaster.

How so?

Masculinity since the dawn of time has been defined by discipline, courage, restraint, duty, sacrifice, toughness, and the willingness to protect and provide.
You have such a narrow mind.

“Narrow-minded” is just what people say when they don’t want to defend a vague definition.
You defined masculinity as basic human decency. I’m saying masculinity should mean something more specific: courage, discipline, duty, sacrifice, and responsibility.
That’s not narrow. That’s a definition.

No. It is actually a lot more simple. Masculinity is testosterone. Femininity is estragon and the human race depends on it to reproduce. And for some reason masculinity is frowned up today, yet if a football player paints his fingernails its celebrated. Type shite is that?
Growing up I had my favorite players and I wanted to wear my hat like them, where shirts they wore, etc. There are kids.. boy right now who have their nails painted because they are a Caleb Williams fan and they will not be picked on for doing it.

Would you teach your son to paint his nails?

Caleb Williams is a homosexual.

Speaking of narrow minds, I’d say the majority of the black community isn’t approving of homosexuality. It’s ironic that the racial group that always saying they are most discriminated against are the most homophobic, lol.

Agree 100%
But the masculinity problem is the exact opposite of what this board thinks it is.
The issue with masculinity in this country is that there is an idealized version based on attributes that are meaningless.
Masculinity is being kind. Helping others. Forgiveness. Being openin minded. Doing your best. Standing up for yourself and others. Being true to yourself.
It has nothing to do with grooming styles. Being stoic. Pushing down desires. Objecting to different cultures or sexual orientations.
Focusing on those things is the opposite of masculinity.
Gayest shite I've ever heard.

And by a wide arse margin too. That doesn't mean it isn't valid. They get to speak their minds. We don't. We're supposed to talk about our feelings, and be kind, and let men with mental problems go in the women's restroom. frick all that. Painting nails isn't the mountain Boosie is making it out to be, but it's symptomatic AF.

I'd be real worried about what he would be teaching his son.

Also does him being a felon automatically disqualify him from calling a spade a spade? What’s some other qualifiers that should remove people from being able to state facts?
He’s not disqualified, but one would think multiple felony convictions certainly call his judgment into question.

you're unlikely to reply, having been embaressed again on the OT.
...but out of curiosity: how many great men throughout history do you think would have initially been described as kind, forgiving, open-minded, and true to themselves?
And what do you think the world would look like today if the men from this country, specifically the Greatest Generation, were initially described as kind, forgiving, open-minded, and true to themselves?

Absolutely. But being a felon doesn’t mean he’s wrong about everything.
If Boosie was making commentary on integrity, morality or living in peace with others, sure, he can STFU about that, maybe forever.
I’m just not seeing why being a felon disqualifies him from voicing observations on masculinity (or the lack of). That’s not a judgement call and he’s directionally in line with what most men think…even if they’re too terrified of the woke mob to say it aloud.

Did you feel the need to broaden the definition of masculinity so that you'd fit into it?

I've been working.
I can't be embarrassed here. I wouldn't get embarrassed in front of a group of 3rd graders. They are just trying their best. Yall are gonna make it.
