Boomer Envy is not a good look.

So they created these shitty boomers?
Why not keep going up the chain? Why stop at the boomers?

It’s confusing to me. What I gather is that they worked for decades in a job where they didn’t pay SS and were entitled to a pension. Then worked in a job where they did pay SS. The wages from both jobs were used to calculate their SS benefits. The WEP attempted to correct this. The new law eliminates the WEP
That's exactly it. My 83 year old mom worked at a family owned store for about 20 years. She paid into social security and also a self employment tax. After their business closed, she worked for the State of La in disability and welfare for another 20+ years. She earned both payments. If she didn't get both now, she wouldn't be able to live without my assistance. Before the law passed, she only received 50% of her social security and could not pay her utilities, food, rent, and gas without help.

Millennials had a higher workforce participation rate, and worked longer hours than boomers in their prime working years.
Worked harder and longer for less gain thanks to the policies and the dollar being worthless because of the debt.

40’s, yes. Work at a golf course course, no. That makes you 1/28 in assumptions. You suck at that too.

You posted your score in the state am and I found your LinkedIn

I did not post my score, and the name you threw was wrong. 1/29.
ETA: I also haven’t played in a state am in over 20 years. Nor do I have a LinkedIn account. Man you suck.

You know, we all have lots of nice STUFF these days and amenities that were not there many years back. I'm not a millennial(young Gen X'r) but I just shake my head at all these threads. Every generation had their crap to deal with.
