Im technically a millennial, but I was born in 84. I identify more with gen x than my own.

I don’t think there is an official name for it but it’s always written about how the older millennials 1982-1988 really don’t fit in with those who came after. But we aren’t really gen x, though we probably identify more closely with them. Really it’s those of us who knew a time without internet or with awful internet and not everyone had cellphones, yet still had that as an increasingly large part of our life. The people who really grew up alongside the technology.

For the record, I can drive a stick. I haven’t written in cursive in 20 some odd years, but I still remember how. I’m technically a millennial.

How old do people think millennials are?
They think anyone under the age of 40 is a millennial.

Scruffy was born in 88 and his first car was a standard.

He also learned cursive.

Its amusing how the OP has upset so many from the Worst Generation.

Watching two terrible generations argue with each other is entertaining.

and doing something as simple as driving stick is worthy of a medal.

How shocking that the people who brought participation trophies into the world think having a skill that takes about a day or two to master is worthy of high praise.

This "War of Generations" has devolved into a meme war. It is clear now that the only winner will be the Internet.

How shocking that a Millennial shits all over an easy skill that he can't perform, but only would take a day or two to learn if he wasn't so lazy.

This hyperbole and misrepresentation game is fun.

My dude I’ve mentioned what I drive on the OT several times. You’re barking up the wrong tree lmao.

To be fair, shooting from the hip and making assumptions that are the opposite of true is a boomer specialty so I can't say I'm surprised.

It's cute that you didn't pick up on the point of the comment about hyperbole and misrepresentation, child.

Shake your tiny little fists in impotent rage. SHAKE THEM!

Cursive and stick shift vehicles are out of use because they suck and they’re generally worse than their replacements. The only time cursive is used is signatures. The only time a stick shift should be used is sports cars or racing

Not even then for the most part. If you're driving stick, you're going slower than everyone else.

I am curious how the younger generations are gonna sign their names. Probably with blood on tree bark once civilization collapses under the greed and incompetence of previous generations.
