I watched my son graduate high school a few years back. I was in total shock watching the pork walk that stage. We had a few fatties in the eighties but this was probably 50% grossly obese.

I grew up in the 60's/70's and we rarely dined out. We ate most meals at home. Soft drinks were rare. Mild or tea for supper. We ate well balanced meal. Look at the photos from then: rare to see fatties. Fast food only on occasion. Boomers ate better then and there was very little obesity. It was not like present day : FAT arse WORLD.

But even with all that smoking going on, boomers will complain if they walk down the strip in Vegas and smell weed.

Hell, you can't drive down the streets of Memphis without smelling weed. It's everywhere. Nasty smelling stuff. Just disgusting. Cigarettes are as well, but still...

Well Scooter, my 103 year old WWII vet dad wanted a quarter pounder with cheese meal for lunch most days and guess fricking what? All of us kids made sure it happened.

And today, we wish we could bring him one, just once more.

They don’t wash their hands. We just had Thanksgiving with my MIL who came with a cold and got my whole family sick because she would do things like wipe her nose and then empty the dishwasher without washing her hands first. My young adult kids were pissed

For some reason this is not a pleasant image of a woman. She could burn calories making you supper and cleaning the house.

The biggest boomer trait is sticking to routines/beliefs regardless of facts. That's why shite they grew up doing like yogurt when their stomach hurts, blindly trusting doctors to write another pill script and going to the same places are always gonna be par course

The obesity rate of the under 30 demographic is probably higher than the obesity rate of the over 60 demographic. I can't imagine what these 20something Land Whales will look like when they are 60.

Because the fat over 60 crowd is already dead

My mother is 88 and has never had a drop of straight water in her entire life. Tab, Coke or Coke Zero 24x7.

Her mother will have an upset stomach and wants to eat yogurt and drink orange juice for breakfast and we're sitting there saying "those items aren't good to have with an upset stomach."
I think she is faking and is really just praying yall leave.

That's a pretty broad brush you're painting "Boomers" with.

He just stated his wife doesn’t do any of this.

You saying you marry based on the diet of the woman’s parents?
