If there's one thing I know a lot about it's Jet(s).

I really doubt your DL flight is going to IAH out of MSY. I remember my first beer.

Yeah, on further inspection he was on the direct MSY-CUN flights on United. Looks like they have changed some of their offerings.

Still showing plenty of non-stops on multiple days.

Didn't realize there was that much demand from MSY to CUN for multiple airlines to run flights there during the spring/summer break season.

I have a booked flight to Cancun in June that was a direct flight from MSY, booked and paid a month ago. Today I get a notification that it is now leaving an hour early and going to Houston first

All the usual travelers have given some great advice in here. If your original flight gets cancelled and you go from a nonstop to a connection, ask to be put on the nonstop (if they have one) or ask for a refund. In this case, I'd go for the refund and rebook on delta as it sounds like you were booked on united originally. Maybe their loads were low for the route? Who else flies direct to cancun besides delta or united from msy? Southwest?

Never fly that airline again. Vote with your carrier selection. I will never fly Delta again, going on ten years now.

I fly all the time. Fly mostly Delta. Never had a problem, ever. 10 years.

I've always found the people who complain most are the ones who fly once every few years.

They are the same people I want to donkey punch when TSA sends them through the metal detector for the fifth consecutive time because they forgot keys in their pocket or some bullshite.

The ones I hate are the ones that have zone 5 on their boarding pass but stand around the gate in the damn way for 30 minutes before the plane boards.

NOLAGreg

Post less as in never.

You make your own bad weather and then wonder why you feel like the world is against you.

Your definition of "all the time" or "problem" must be different than mine. If you fly a lot, you will have problems on any airline.

99.9% of people that say "Im never flying this airline again!" don't have a real gripe. Just a normal issue with an airline delay.

Flight changes happen on every airline. So "taking your business elsewhere" in this case is useless.
