Their exploits captured the attention of the American press and its readership during what is occasionally referred to as the "public enemy era" between 1931 and 1934. They are believed to have murdered at least nine police officers and four civilians. They were killed in May 1934 during an ambush by police near Gibsland, Louisiana.

I think the only thing to mark where they were slain is a small marker on the side of the road.

I bet Bonnie's front bottom smelled like tuna fish, they didn't shower regular and slept in the woods/car all while Clyde smashed it on the reg.

Yep…one day I was driving some backroads for work miles from any civilization when I saw a granite marker along a gravel road. I stopped to check it out and found that it was the site that Bonnie and Clyde were ambushed. The marker was riddled with bullet holes.
