Bond denied for teen accused of killing woman in crash, goes to grand jury

17-year-old Domingo Marcos Diego is charged with homicide by vehicle and leaving the scene of an accident with injuries in a head-on crash on Moffett Road in Semmes that claimed the life of Sonya Jones.
Marcos Diego made it into the courtroom on crutches, to stand in front of Judge George Hardesty.
In court, Alabama trooper Timothy Freeman testified that Marcos Diego crossed over into the opposite lane, hitting Jones head on. He added in court, Marcos Diego tried to flee the scene multiple times.

"Our position is that it wasn't a knowing, knowingly, or deliberate action. It was simply an accident. He did not have control of his vehicle after his vehicle made contact with the other vehicle. It was simply an accident," said Michael Kaoui, Marcos Diego's lawyer.

Since he's illegal they can bury him under the jail for all I care, just curious about the multiple thing.

Will be interesting to see if the same people who are are defending and applauding the release of the murderer in the other thread (because he was a teenager when he committed the murder) will defend this teenager as well.
