Last time Georgia had a La Nina winter we got the most snow I've ever seen in the state. fricking 9 inches of snow at my place

Oddly enough, 2008–09, 2010–11 are listed as La Nina and I believe we got the big snow in Baton Rouge in December of 2008,
AND
January of '11 was probably the coldest month since 1989.

well what's your take, hotshot?

Odds are lower than normal for gulf coast snowfall. Less moisture and warmer than normal is the typical. Yes, it could line up right but it's harder to get that than in normal times.

Just playing the statistics game here.

We've got a La Nina winter coming. We're well above average in Colorado. These aren't my predictions. They are predictions of weather experts who actually monitor this stuff.

Slow it down a little.

Being 2020 your bold prediction isn’t really that bold.

Hell, I’ll just be happy with a Christmas Day that isn’t in the mid to upper 70’s.

I feel like every year I think the same thing around the start of October and almost every year I'm disappointed.

Im not expecting as much foliage as we had last fall since so many trees dropped leaves in Laura. But last year was one of the more colorful falls in recent memory.
