I just listened to parts 1 and 2 True Crime Garage podcast about this case. TCG usually does old cases but they got so many requests to cover this one they finally decided to do this current case. Started on it this morning and started getting updates like everyone else. Kind of wild listening as more info comes in as they do the podcast.

“We’re not going to release anything more until the press conference,” said Mitch Mortvedt, the assistant director of Iowa’s Division of Criminal Investigation. He said officials would provide more details at a press conference scheduled for 4 p.m. central time.

Worth noting that a suspect in custody is still a long way from being guilty, but it will be interesting nonetheless.
