The dad kept floating this story, but it seemed to me almost like a false hope of his as to one possible scenario for her to not be dead. Who knows. Hopefully they catch the person, I'd bet it was someone she knew.

My theory is that it's someone who was close to the boyfriend and brother and fiance. Someone who knew those would be out of town and she'd kinda be by herself.

Whoever killed her probably had no idea this would become a nation wide story. A huge body search, and honestly hid her very well to get away with it this long. Unless she was held prisoner for a while. I am confused how it took this long.

Like I said in the other thread, whats even more sad (not that it can get worse I guess) is that her dad left yesterday to fly back to California...he was scared to leave and had been pondering it for a while. Can't even imagine him waking up at 6am this morning to the news that sources say his daughter was found dead. Now he will be on a plane back to Iowa...what a horrible horrible 24 hours for him

It’s kind of surprising that they’re releasing that it was Mollie’s remains that were found on Tuesday. It typically takes a day or so to identify A body.
Especially if she had been dead for sometime now.

as a parent I feel for these prople terribly. The dad just went back to Cali to rest. This has got to be devastating.
