Goddam!! Something bad went down. Looks like a baseball bat between the eyes.

The family either already knows or suspects that it is embarrassing or damaging and doesn't want it to tarnish whatever reputation he still had.

If there was any indication he was hit by an object (baseball bat), the police would investigate. So if there is no investigation cing out of this then he died accidentally by hitting his head. Case closed. Let the man rest in peace. How is finding out exactly what happened to him going to change your life in any way?

Considering his whole act was being a dirty old man, how can you claim a tarnished reputation?

Where my main man Ralph Wiggums?

Because most people are remembered as a saint (deserved or not) when they die. Did you miss all the loving tributes when he passed?

Do you honestly believe that?

I now think the wife had him whacked and hotel staff was involved.

Finding out how any person dies doesn’t really impact my life. Guess we can close down murder investigations and move on once someone dies.
Something is strange here, but the coverup is usually worse than what is being covered up. If the family is doing this to protect his reputation it is just leading to rampant speculation. I can only imagine what they are going through, but getting lawyers involved is not going to do anything but add more curiosity and publicity to the incident. Not a great move if they are trying to keep things quiet.

Imagine a loved one you’ve lost. now imagine if every other day their name was plastered all over the news and then the internet got to buzzing with conspiracy theories that range from plausible to absolute batshit crazy shite. all while you’re trying to cope. don’t blame them one but for trying to put a lid on a lot of that shite.
You think them filing a lawsuit to prevent further dissemination of information is going to stop the speculation? It’s gotten infinitely worse since they filed it.

Probably just bumped his head while surfing the web to produce a documentary about the Clintons, could happen to anyone.

Go to TikTok and search Bob Saget Comedy Central Roast and you will know quickly why he was killed

Because we need and must know what happened. You would never understand.

Marc Maron went to the Saget funeral. He said the rabbi started with:
"I'm sure that if Bob were here today, he would be asking the same question that all of us are asking."
"Why? Why couldn't it have been Stamos?"

Yes, some electronic locks keep a record of when the door was opened (even without a key so they can track when you must have left). Some are actually connected to the front desk system and they can check at all times while others they have to take another machine to the door and read its memory
I’ve never heard of this, and I have a lot of experience with those systems. Maintenance can hook up a reader that they bring to the front desk and it’ll say which keys (guest key, maintenance, housekeeping, etc) opened the door and nothing more. There’s generally no reason for a hotel to spend extra money developing a program to track whether someone voluntarily enters or leaves a room. The entire point of tracking key use to is to prevent the staff from stealing from guests, not to aid investigations
Most hotel computer systems are extremely dated. Marriott uses one from the 80’s and one from the early 2000’s and Hilton uses one from the early 2000’s as well. You’re not getting cutting edge entry tracking tech in virtually any hotel anywhere in the US.
And regarding the camera questions, you’d be shocked at how many hotels have basically no working cameras. 90% only have working cameras in back of house and maybe a few at the front and side entrances and parking lot. Again, I’ve never heard of a hotel, no matter how nice, having fully functioning hallway cameras on more than 50% of their floors because they’re only concerned with repairing the cameras that monitor employees and back of house areas

dont you think they would have thought of that before definitely saying no one else entered the room? It was a Ritz Carlton, and locks are pretty advanced these days , im fairly certain that they can tell even if the door is opened, whether or not he let them in.. of course im not 100% sure of that
You’re 100% wrong. No clue why you’d chime in with that when you have no clue what you’re talking about. Ritz Carltons use the same shitty software that every Marriott brand hotel uses. A lot of Courtyard Marriotts and Fairfield Inns have more advanced technology than the ultra luxury brands
Posted on 2/17/22 at 6:41 am to Forever
The thing about that old software is that it actually runs in a predictable way. Just last weekend I had to wait 10 minutes to pay this jeweler because his Windows-based POS terminal jammed up.
If I were running a business I'd want a minicomputer (maybe one in an emulator, but still) running shite.

Ive spent over 2 years of my life in Marriott hotel rooms, at all levels, so i know a little bit about the various locks and ways of entering the rooms.. thanks for your concern though , now let’s get back to an adult conversation .
