I'm not sure why it's so difficult for people to acknowledge plenty of LEOs are complete shite heads, and charging anyone for murder in this Atlanta case is patently absurd.
They're not mutually exclusive, yet 95% of the posts in this thread would suggest otherwise.

Nothing through official channels. We reached out to multiple APD officers we know. Only one zone (there are six) is currently working right now. The rest dropped their cars and keys back at their precincts and went home.
Mayor Lance-Bottoms requested mutual assistance from Cobb and Gwinnett Counties, who had initially withdrawn their mutual aid after the DA's choice to arrest the college Taser Incident officers. They refused.
I'm not even sure if GSP is going to send help either, there's a rumor that the governor ordered them to step back after the DA's decision. That's unconfirmed.

More training is always a good thing. We always hear about conflict resolution training or firearms training, but we never hear about more unarmed combat training. Giving these guys hand to hand, jiu jitsu, mma, whatever type of training is probably the most important training they could get.

Most same people agree the Brooks shooting was justified. I think he walks- it is also why we have a court and legal system in this country.
As to what better training and pay will do, go watch the Shaver shooting and you will see a man get shot that should still be alive.

That’s what breaks my heart. I absolutely love that dude and I don’t think there’s anyway we could find middle ground. And our stances aren’t different. He works to share Christ with and help black kids learn to be fathers and stick around with their kids. We both know that is the the best way to fix things. But because I don’t subscribe to the right political party or believe what BLM (the organization, not the statement) puts forward with a lot of ideology, I’m irredeemable.
