I like the zero sugar red monsters. I get a 15 pack delivered every two weeks via Amazon. It’s cheaper than paying gas station prices
I drink one a day because I don’t like coffee and it’s gets me going for the day. The extra 1 in the pack every two weeks is reserved for those occasional hangover mornings

I'm not hating on people in the trades, but this discussion is why the "you can own your own business in the trades" arguments are failures.
A very, very small % of people in the trades have the intellectual capacity, temperament, and discipline to operate a successful trades company.
Most of those people in that small population probably would have been better off going to college and using those traits in a more lucrative business field.
but the OT thinks everyone should own their own business and nobody hates statistics more than the "white collar" OT poster who wants his kids to go into the trades
not sure why you are being downvoted
oh and babytac is still the worst poster on the OT

so the gas station on my route has them cheaper in terms of cost per OZ than sams or amazon so I just buy there
i have a couple more weeks were I can have them before my cut is over and I have to stop drinking them to handle the amount of food I will need during my lean bulking phase.
but babytac thinks he knows everything. Its funny he is an engineer yet the engineers that he calls blue collar because they work in FRC in the plants make more than him and he answers to them. Typical of consultant engineers.

Sitting here at the pump and observing them throw money away. Most aren’t even getting gas…just an overpriced soft drink and honey bun. What gives plant bros?
Jealous they make way more than you do? Maybe spend more time working your mall kiosk shift (you might make shift manager someday) and less time worrying about the financial decisions of your betters.

They have some retarded view of higher education, and believe working hard is better than working smart.
Well, most wealthy people got to where they are by working hard and working smart. Poor dimwits like you load up on college debt and put yourself into a financial hole you are neither smart enough or have the work ethic to get out of...

Lol..You taxpayers paid for both my degrees.
That's working smart, not hard.
Thank you, btw. :))

And here you are still a moron. Apparently you didn't put much effort into your education...

plant boi here. I'm up and out the house for 4:30AM and at work by 5:30AM. 12 hour shifts + whatever the hell else i need to get done. Nothing besides gas stations are open. you want a hot breakfast or cold monster? either do it at home or get it at the gas station. No other options.

Why not stop one of the guys you see doing this instead of wasting our time with it?

Keep changing those goalposts.
I'd be butthurt as well. ;))

Baw, you didn't get degrees from the local Vo-Tech. Why lie like that?

Vo-tech?
No, I didn't attend LSU

It’s quicker, cheaper, and healthier to pop into HEB and grab something
Are HEBs (grocery stores) open at 5:30-6 am? And are they are damn near every corner like a gas station?
So quicker is definitely not the word I'd use there. So not as quick or convenient would probably be the main reason they stop at gas stations.
I'm not sure about texas, but Louisiana and mississippi have some very good gas station breakfast.

Like attorney? A field that is flooded? While I am not in the trades, I did have a few neighbors who were when I lived up on the Bountiful, Utah benches around Eaglewood GC(I mention area because IYKYK). Most trades are sorely understaffed and it was very easy for them to become business owners. Anecdotal I know, but my richest neighbor was not college educated. He was a refugee from Bosnia (he and his wife went to school with my wife). He owned his own plumbing company and made millions. There were a few more up there. Being a dude from Opelousas, I preferred hanging with them rather than the pretentious degreed folk(even though I am degreed).
Bottom line is most college degrees get you not much in return of investment. Those that do, have been swollen with applicants. A smart, industrious individual can make just as much in the right trade, as he can in most white collar fields...and he won't have the debt we carried(although with GI bill and me graduating in the mid-90's, mine wasn't near what our attorney of an older son carries).
But yes, most people are right. The average blue collar person will never achieve what a degreed person will. This was just to answer that "special individual" claim.

Assuming your assumptions are correct, why would they be better off with a college degree? If they have the intellectual capacity, temperament, and discipline to operate a successful trades company, they are running their own business, and more than likely making a shite ton of money without having college debt while their competitors (according to your assumption) are lazy mental midgets?
And before we continue with the stereotyping, Ive got the pretty little 4 yr degree diploma framed on my wall and Im thankful for it. I also busted my arse every summer as a bottom of the totem pole kid working construction on turnarounds in chemical plants for the 5 years it took me to earn the money necessary to pay for said diploma. While I have awesome memories, and likely expanded my intellectual capacity
while at LSU, the summers in those plants is where I learned the temperament and discipline to run a successful residential construction company. This after wearing suit and tie and white collared shirt for 15 years
I realize everyone's path is different, and this is only one mans opinion, but I feel if a lot more people who have a white collar career had spent some time in jobs getting their hands dirty, it would likely make them a better lawyer, doctor, bond trader, etc.

The gas station by my house makes its own tortillas fresh every day for their breakfast tacos.
I could be Elon rich and I'd still grab a couple of those on occasion.
