We e-biked from downtown to Pensacola Beach to catch the show. Good way to not have to deal too much with the traffic. Some bad weather moved in cutting the show short, but what we did get to see was spectacular. Here are some photos I snapped.

Always plan to go on Friday, its the same exact show as Saturday. If the weather is bad on Friday then you always can give it a go on Saturday.

Someone recently told me that they no longer allow civilians to go out near the tarmac to watch the Blue Angels practice. Is that true? That was my most memorable experience the last time that I visited the museum. Of course this was 7-8 years ago.

I’m not sure if it’s true or not. We did it once and didn’t care for it because of traffic getting on base, hotter than hell on the tarmac and the noise of the engines.
Now we rent a pontoon boat and watch it from a small sand island adjacent to the air field. In our opinion this option is 1000x better.

I was there as well, but further down so I mostly just got flybys. Got some great videos but I can’t post those.

I've known 3. 2 were Marines and Fat Albert Pilots and the other was an HS teammate's dad and #1 Blue Angel.

They do allow civilians to watch practice at the tarmac…was there Wednesday and the tarmac was full of folks. My wife was awesome and got my daughter and I passed to watch from the lighthouse…that was epic!!!
