Anyone with experience using nasal irrigation devices, ie things like a netty pot, I’d like to know if you feel like it would be worth purchasing/using one

I've been battling something the last maybe 3-4 weeks off and on. Neti pot is a lifechanger baw, get one and try it out. While I find it really only helps keep my congestion clear for maybe 20-30 mins, when you haven't been able to breathe in days that 20-30 mins feels like heaven.

Never use tap water. Distilled only.

Get a navage. My dad is so obsessed with his that he uses it even when he's not clogged up. Just make sure you use distilled water unlike his dummbass.

Navage

I have and use this.

Do take precaution in cleaning/sterilizing. I was discussing it with a neighbor and he told me his friend died of a brain infection from using one. Kinda wigged me out.

Rub some peppermint and lavender oil on your forehead and both cheek bones. Also, put a dab or two in a hot steamy shower.

I use Simply Saline with eucalyptus. Cleans that crap out and really opens up the nasal cavity.

NeilMed Sinus Rinse squeeze bottle

Use the little packet and add a tablespoon of Alkolol to the mix

I travel all over the continent and get exposed to a massive amount of allergens. Before I started using the sinus flush I was constantly having to use nose sprays and decongestants to breathe and not have the sinus pain. Started using this every day with distilled water and it basically freed up my face from the pain, congestion, and blowing my nose 10x day - whenever I stop using it the pain resumes. It's weird feeling for the first few times running the water through, but once you get used to it it's a breeze.

As stated before, use only distilled water.

Nasal irrigation won't help with sinused that are already clogged. You're likely to get trapped liquid in them and it'll hurt like a bitch. I know from experience. Use irrigation for seasonal clearance of pollen if you're sneezing frequently, but once you get to stuffiness or congestion switch to a decongestant w/antihistamine.

Had sinus surgery in March. My doctor still recommends using the sinus rinse bottle atleast every other day. Helps keep allergens out and keeps things open.
