re: Black woman punches white cop and black cop lays her out

Seemed like he brushed off the first one pretty well but the second looked like it had a bit more of an effect. A third one in succession perhaps would have gotten a bit more serious. But that was headed off at the pass. Personally, I don't like to see any of these kinds of things happen to either party, but IMO the black cop was justified at the time he acted. In the heat of the moment the black cop probably didn't know one way or another whether those punches were damaging to Mr. White. IMO Mr. Black was justified in his actions. Even though he did execute with a bit of pimp hand.

Exactly. This whole incident is a result of cherry picking.

That's not to say the incident wasn't bad, but there have been incidents just as bad, or worse, that were not played up to the degree this one is. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, has said the cop was in the wrong and deserves the harshest penalty. But there are incidents that happen once a week in almost every part of the country that would never see the light of day because the demographics of the parties involved don't make for good ratings.
