We haven't even had segregation for three generations. Time to grow up and accept personal responsibility for your personal failures. Those that do, do well.

I graduated in physics, then did an applied physics masters in EE. Worked at CAMD for most of it. Some of my physics teachers were professors, the guy I worked for was…the EE guys weren’t to that level for me. I’ve worked mostly as an ME throughout my career.

They were down by a big deficient. I think there have been a lot of blacks who benefited from the help, but the problem is in urban areas where a lot of black kids get sucked into the streets. But poverty in general is something that will always be around.
Its just that urban areas have a lot more opportunity for crime. And a big part of that is "the war on drugs". A majority of these murders are over territory. And as long as drugs are illegal there will be people on the street recruiting people at a young age to sell, steal, etc for those on top.
Just like the Italian mob and the different families. When they cracked down on the Italian mob it forced them to "go legal". Crime was higher in the 60s, 70s, 80s and part of the 90s than it is now.

BTW, that "deficient" you speak of is Black American Culture more specifically, the families raising black children.

They commit more crimes per capita.
A lot more white people are killed by cops, but more blacks per capita (but if you go by the news people would assume cops never kill white people).
