Dude takes a girl (presumably GF/wife) out to a nice restaurant. GF/wife invites like four other chicks and the other chicks are salty because “he’s the only man at the table and he’s not paying for us”

It was hard to tell, but I think every girl at the table was mad at him. The only one who stuck up for him was the lady who was standing about halfway through.
Now, if this was his daughter I can understand it a little but, I guess. But these are grown arse women.
Calling splitting the check "ghetto" was awesome though.

Yeah I think you might be right and now I have some questions. Like, if he intended it to only be him and “birthday girl” (he says he didn’t invite the others)…why didn’t he speak up when all these other chicks showed up and they ended up getting seated at this big table?
Whoever birthday girl is, he has to know she has some ratchet friends so if they all just showed up at once he should have been clear from jump that he’s treating his girl and no one else. I’ll put that part on him.

What? No he shouldn’t have. Just because you invite someone to dinner doesn’t mean you’re obligated to pay for them
The only situation where that’s common is a parent inviting their child and their child’s friend along with them, or on a date where you’re fricking the other person or trying to frick them

Possibly.
Also per the conversation they've done this before (presumably at a previous birthday dinner) and played "credit card Russian roulette" to see who paid for the whole meal. The one girl told him that, and his response was "That was 2021, it was a different time" or whatever. So there may have been some expectation that one person would pay based on earlier gatherings.

I’m saying if his intent was to only pay for the girl he invited (that seems to be the case), then he should have made that clear.
I’m not opining on whether he was obligated to pay for the one he invited…I’m assuming that was his intent based on what he said.

I always feel awkward when my gf and I go out with her single friends, I pay. They always offer and are thankful. When they come to the house to vent about their problems, they always bring me beer.

Recently, the last few times we've gone out with a group, one person will pay and tell everyone else not to worry about it and then everyone Venmos that one person, anyway. Everyone feels good, lol.

This is what happens when women show up and start ordering stupid expensive shite they normally wouldn’t order. That’s why she is adamant about that.
Same thing with drinks.
Same reason when i do with a party of 6 or more to do something like sushi, i am absolutely NOT splitting the bill. Some try hard cheese dick or stupid bitch is gonna order the sashimi boat cause it looks neat for social media pics and want orthers to help pay for that.
