What about those of us who believe in science and are also Christians? The two schools of thought don't have to exist in total opposition.

If you come back with more than one-sentence answers, I'd be glad to pay attention.

if you ever replied to, or understood, the point being made, you'd get more than one-sentence answers

Ok. I honestly have no idea if you're trolling or actually trying to make a point.

Ther are over 100 billion observable galaxies.... either you believe they were created, or that they appeared from nothing. One seems no more ridiculous than the other scientifically speaking

I'm glad Louisiana didn't make Nye's list of dumb states

The matter that was used to create the galaxies has probably always existed (conservation of mass).

I think if you go back far enough there is a point where an honest scientist would admit they just don't know. The Big Bang Theory is just that, a theory. (also a funny show)
I tend to trust the scientific information that so many individuals have discovered, tested, and confirmed to get me back to that point. I trust this way more than the information presented to me for a 6,000 year old Earth.

So you believe some thing has always existed, sounds very familiar

not really. If you believe in a creator then he had to have appeared form nothing. No matter which you believe, both ideas include something coming form nothing.

Did Ham even dispute anything he just said? It just seems as if, especially with the slides already prepared, that he didn't listen to a damn thing Nye said.

Perhaps, but I'm confused as to how compelling that is
not enough time for the diversity we see.
example, you can take a cheetah from one side of africa and graft its skin to another cheetah on the other side of Africa without rejection...why....because 18k years ago a super volcano nearly killed off all life on earth and reduced the cheetah population to such few numbers inbreeding was rampant.
Today 18k years later Cheetahs are basically brothers and sisters and suffer survivability issues from the inbreeding
stable diversity requires vast amounts of time

that was weak
neither are going to address the other here. this is basically an extra 5 minutes for each
