Oh my God I agree with Bill Maher. That's like the second time this decade.

He has always been a pompus a-hole whether it is about religion or conservatism or culture.

I am sad he is alive and even sadder he has such a voice and following.

Bill Maher is an a-hole. I never could watch his television show. Maher is the type of person that thinks talking over people instead of engaging them is winning an argument. It's infuriating.

I'm no Marvel fan, but this coming from an embittered numb-nut who supported Obama and still believes, as an adult, that redistribution of wealth is helpful to society is laughable. What a dipshit!

I didn't realize he was an anti-vaxxer. That's egregiously, on the fringe stupid.

Wasn't sure if there was a silicone pad that was better than another so I figured I'd ask someone who would be familiar with something like that

I've never done a suture before so I'm trying to get some decent info

I don't care for comics or comic movies either. But Bill Maher is still a douche, and his point is a douche's point. This doesn't have anything to do with being an adult.

I don't read comics and didn't as a kid either, but I know enough to appreciate the huge and complex universes that they build. A lot of it is simple and campy and geared towards kids, sure, but a lot of it is also extremely well written and combined with the artwork they tell a story just as well as any great author.

I would challenge Maher to read the graphic novel for The Watchmen and say that's not a great piece of art. Again, I'm not even a comic read and I enjoyed that as much as any piece of literature I've ever read.

I don’t like Maher and I love the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

But he’s not entirely wrong.

You really just need the sutures and the instruments. You can use lots of things for tissue.

Don’t drop a bunch of money on it because they can get expensive and most require some kind of replacement.

It just takes practice and repetition. YouTube has plenty of great videos.

What's the best thing to use? I've seen people use bananas

Not sure I want pig and chicken feet chilling in my fridge all the time

Bananas work and will hold up longer. It doesn’t have the feel of real tissue though. It is good practice on.

I don't see anything wrong with what he's saying. It's funny seeing grown men so upset
