Just a reminder that the SI Swimsuit issue was much better back then, also.

I was in high school and college in the 80’s. Pensacola Beach and PCB had fine arse women like that all over the place. From time to time I go to Pensacola now and I never see anything like that anymore. Most young women look like shite.

I graduated from high school in 85 so I am definitely an 80’s kid. Goddammit I miss those days.

Things were new and fresh and exciting.

I remember vividly the first time I saw MTV. Summer movies were incredible. Fashion was crazy and loud and garish. But hey, it was fun.

Girls were gorgeous, natural, and not raging feminists or spoiled princesses.

Best of times.

Oh, and I had this picture of Kathy Ireland in my locker.

She was as close to an OT 10 as they come.

I was in high school in the 80's and worked on Pensacola Beach. Good times. Worked in a beach store that sold swim suits. On more than one occasion, female customers tried on suits in front of me.

Girls on spring break or vacation at the beach, want to have fun. I was there and I tried to help.

To be young again...

No tattoos or idiotic piercings 80s America was far better than now

Our entire culture is toxic right now from the food chain to entertainment to government, but the decline started a long time ago.

Schools where I learned, they should be burned, it is poison.
Physicians prescriptin' us medicine, which is poison
Doctors injectin' our infants with the poison.

When pregnant, drop out of school or have abortions
Stop workin', hopin' that they find a man that will support them”
-NAS, “What Goes Around” (2001)

Both sides see the same problems, they just can’t agree on the solutions and aren’t willing to put in the work to fix them.

Such a degradation from then to now.

I’m 48 but to be fair our parents back then thought the same shite about us as we do with kids today. It was great to us because we were young. People in their 40s in 1989 didn’t have that same perspective, they would have thought no different than someone in their 40s today

I vividly remember getting that issue in my mailbox as a kid then beating my poor dick for months like it owed me money.

Back when you knew a woman was an actual woman and being fit wasn't frowned upon.

There is another pic in this issue of a black model (don't remember her name) in a blue bikini crawling on the beach. I aimlessly blew my knuckle children to that pic so often the damn pages stuck together and I ruined it.

Fricking glory days.

I loathe Jane Fonda, but I give credit where credit is due. She had a lot to do with getting women into the gym and staying fit.

Now, women are into Slim Jims and staying fat.
