I saw people making fun of Darth, but I thought he was spot on that the Feds are going to drop the hammer on this.
Kill yourselves all you want, but you can't shoot up strip malls in suburbia and expect them to sit back and take that.
people weren't that harsh on darth b/c he was criticizing the bikers in question, too...same as tejas pete
that's what REALLY made SS's lies/diversions hilarious. EVEN THE BIKERS WERE CRITICIZING THESE ASSHOLES

Ive got to ask - if rolling up to twin peaks for lunch, and there are hundreds of bikers, and a SWAT team outside.... did any average joes actually go in for lunch?

If for no other reason than I wouldn't want to wait on a table.
We went to McKenzie's after church when I was a kid. Hooters and Twin Peaks didn't exist yet, but if they had, I can't imagine that my parents would have brought us there. Bikers, or not.

From what it sounds like, the cops were already in position (inconspicuously?) and when the fight was taken to the parking lot and once the mc guys fired a shot, the cops started shooting and then all hell broke loose.
This is pretty standard anytime there is big gathering, especially when it involves multiple MC's.
From what I've read, what was going on in Waco yesterday was some sort of Confederation of Club meeting. Which it is odd that it took place at a public place instead of a member club's clubhouse which is SOP. I've never heard of a C.O.C. meeting taking place in a public location like this. Maybe that's how they do it in Texas now.
Anyway, it's pretty common whenever there's a C.O.C. meeting happening for there to be local, state, and feds positioned just outside. Usually they will sit up "safety" roadblocks close to the entrances where anyone on a bike is stopped so they can get their ID and take pictures of them on their bike and with their Club cut. Basically, they keep tabs on everyone who is attending these meetings and which club they are associated with.
This is the reason why the idea of a modern day biker war is absurd. They know who everyone of us are, where we live, where we work, and who we ride with. Basically, unless you live in a cave and are totally off the grid, they know everything there is to know about you and your club. And as soon as a "war" breaks out, all they have to do is swoop in and squash everyone involved like we saw happen yesterday.
And like I said yesterday, I hope they come down on these asshats with both feet. This was a public restaurant on a freaking Sunday afternoon. There where innocent people everywhere, including women and children. Like others have said, if they want to kill each other off, go find a field somewhere out in the country, line up and go after each other until one side cries uncle.

Darth I've been out of the life for a minute now but I'm hearing from friends close to this that it's over a lot more than a bottom rocker but that's what brought it all to a head. I'm not stupid enough to ask for more details, l just hope they get it quashed before anyone else gets hurt.

those hand cut mozzarella sticks would have to be pretty great to walk up and put my name on the list for a table there!

I'm not familiar with the MC "political" situation in Texas. We don't have any chapters in Texas so what goes on there usually does not concern us. But from what I've seen and heard, what's going on there has been happening basically nationwide. Basically the COC's no longer function as they were intended. Instead whichever big 1%er club "controls" a given state also controls that state's COC. Some clubs are starting to resent this and it's causing trouble. From what I've heard, the whole thing yesterday can be traced back to this. It all boils down to two things: power and control.

Yeah that's kinda what I read between the lines in the conversation I had but like I said I'm not going to ask a bunch of questions about shite that is nomb. If the C.O.Cs get blown up I think it'll get worse before it gets better but who knows maybe they need to go and be replaced by so new system. I just hope this shite don't get outta hand.

If I ride my ATV from the farm down to the c-store for some chicken fingers and a jojo, I sure hope I don't get shot. Do any MC's have blaze orange as their color?

Some clubs are into that stuff. Everyone knows that. But really what it boils down to is power and control over being able to say who can and cannot be a club and who and who not can fly their colors.
