Most repairmen services are a rip off. If you can follow simple instructions and watch YouTube, you can fix almost anything in your house.
My AC unit was chugging. Based off the sound it made I was able to use YouTube to figure out it needed a new capacitor. I called a few local places to see what they'd charge to fix it and it ranged from $300-$400.
So I went back to the YouTube video, learned how to do it myself, borrowed the father in laws voltage reader just to make sure I didn't shock the shite out of myself, got the new capacitor, and fixed it in about 20 minutes.
Total cost was $60 bucks in parts and lunch for the FIL who tagged along to make sure I used his reader correctly.

Football tickets. We all love going to games, but there is not a chance in hell I'd ever pay $1000+ for a ticket.

Airfare that's not booked in advance. Hundreds of dollars more because you may need to get somewhere in a hurry or for an emergency

I can get back home for $27 on a Tuesday flying Spirit. The same flight is $265-300 on Southwest/AA/Delta

I'm talking cross country.
I go to Oregon and Philadelphia often, and I'm sorry but frick spirit seats for hours.

extended warranties,
I agree with this.
Not sure if this is considered an extended warranty so if not, the home warranties people buy that covers repairs on your AC unit, etc.
Someone I know had it for awhile. The thing is, whoever he had it with, they send out their own people to fix it. Long story short, they sent out some guys who didn't know what they were doing and he ended up having to hire an AC guy because they couldn't fix it.. Making his warranty completely useless (which is not surprising).

Apparently mid day weddings without a full meal.

Anything ever branded with the name "Trump"..Trump University, Trump ties, Trump Vodka, Trump airlines, Trump deodorant, Trump steaks, Trump underwear, Trump furniture, the Trump Network, Trump urine tests, Trump vitamins, Trump cologne, Trump hotels, Trump clothing, Trump mattress, Trump coffee, Trump pillows, Trump bed linens, Trump eyeglasses, Trump chandeliers and of course the Trump presidency. Since nearly everything mentioned has already failed or gone bankrupt, sensible people figured out the man is a walking-talking rip-off already...the rest will find out eventually.

The assumption that $ spent on a big wedding by the bride's family can somehow be used for honeymoon or savings needs to die
