For me, it was the insisting that the virus had to originate from a wet market and not the Wuhan lab.

^this

Also..

1. Six feet spacing
2. They said to wear a cloth mask to stop a virus.
3. They said it was ok to go to BLM marches but not church, school, out to eat, movies, concerts, or football games.

Covid-19 thread: PEOPLE ARE DYING IN THE STREETS OF WUHAN

I ignored the hell out of that thread until things started hitting the fan here

The fact that it wasn’t ok to go to a concert, church, or schools but that trips to Walmart/Home Depot/etc were ok.

Our pastor at the time did a lot more damage to our church than COVID.
Biggest church in town was easily mimicking social social distancing long before COVID.

The complete absence of common sense and the idea that a quarantine meant locking down healthy people.

Yes! They called it the "Spanish Flu" but it originated in cramped and overcrowded army barracks in the United States. The government lied to keep a fresh crop of soldiers.

Pretending cotton masks prevent Covid.

Natural immunity doesn’t matter.

Presenting prevalence numbers without accurate tests while simultaneously quoting zero flu cases.

Quoting deaths as Covid anytime the patient tested positive regardless of actual cause as soon as I realized hospitals received federal money for doing so.

There were a lot. I can't pinpoint the exact moment I doubted it - i feel like I doubted it the entire time. Like at the first moment I watched or read something about it that became a shot at Trump I remembered "never let a crisis go to waste" and it clicked. He brings a message of hope saying it would be over soon and they jumped on him. He closes the borders to nations with high exposure rate and they jump on him. He calls it the China virus and they jump on him. If it were a true crisis in my mind they would have all been pulling together. But they were more concerned with discrediting him than actually helping.

Then the lock downs and I thought "if all it takes to defeat a virus is to keep everyone inside for 2 weeks/keep 6' apart in check out lines/one way aisles in grocery stores, etc... then why do we have flu season every year? Why haven't we done this before? It all felt like a manufactured crisis from the jump.

I don't know about the outset, but the absolute politicking against Ivermectin was really the nail in the coffin for me. By that point I had come to the conclusion the the government had seized the opportunity and wouldn't let it go, and that sealed it.

When nobody enforced proper mask wearing for medical safety. Quickly became apparent it was all about control and compliance than actual safety or utility. You could literally wear a net with 1/2 inch holes over your face and nobody would chastise you or refuse you entry into a building. But they would if you wore nothing at all.

Mine was when they were pressuring everyone about the vaccine. Reluctantly, I half way decided that I would get the shot after my 70’ish parents convinced me I would die without it! I called to make an appointment and one of the first questions they asked was for my social security number!
I hung up the phone and have never been happier to be shot free.
