This is so true - my husband and I went to the Miami area in April - so I was expecting the bikinis

I don't have an issue with people who are overweight and trying. I applaud fat people out walking or doing something active.
Its the celebrating of failure, which is what we are doing across the board to boost low self esteems, that bothers me. We should celebrate overcomers

It is much, MUCH, easier and pleasurable to eat whatever and how much you want and not exercising to any degree. You don't get to be 100lbs overweight by just happenstance. It takes a complete lack of give a shite to make that happen. But rather than deal with the shame that generally motivates someone to do better, a segment of our society has decided the best way to remove that "shame" is NOT to work to get better but simply remove the shame by brainwashing already weak-minded people into believing they are healthy at 250lbs and look good in a bikini.
My God, we just went through a year dealing with "pandemic" virus that swept through the world putting overweight people at a significantly higher risk than others. Did the "science" say working to lose weight would be a good idea to lower your risk? Nah. Suggesting someone lose weight is mean. And eating healthier and exercising is no fun. So just wear these 4 mask at all times. Except, of course, when you are drinking a large caramel coffee macchiato from Starbucks or shoveling down a pint of ice cream after dinner.

Every summer since the *checks calendar* late 2000s has been big girl summer. It’s not going to change either. People are getting fatter every year.
