Shows snow on Radar but is def Sleet or freezing rain right now. Why would that be OT meteorologist?

frick I'd trade the snow and ice for 100F right now. There's a giant live oak limb over my house and I'm drinking whiskey staring at it waiting for it to ruin my life

Had to go out to the road to get the trash can. One cold mofo for sure. I did sit outside before day light went to watch the snow. I enjoyed it. Was out the wind.

The current temp is coming in at 24. It wasn’t forecast to be that low until 1 AM. Any chance that’s an indication of lower than projected temps tonight? That would be crazy.

I am so confused. According to radar we should be in some of the heavier stuff and instead there is NOTHING happening. Did the dry air infiltrate the upper layers and dry everything out before it hits the ground? If so, we are done and won't see another flake. That seems unlikely but I can't explain how else there is nothing falling when radar looks so good.
