The current temp is coming in at 24. It wasn’t forecast to be that low until 1 AM. Any chance that’s an indication of lower than projected temps tonight? That would be crazy.

Steve Capparota said 15-16 On Twitter. Slightly lower than forecast

Just drove out from CCL to get a can and the roads are wet but not icy at all

Supposed to be out at shell in Norco to investigate some panels and it hasn’t been cancelled yet. Fingers crossed

I am so confused. According to radar we should be in some of the heavier stuff and instead there is NOTHING happening. Did the dry air infiltrate the upper layers and dry everything out before it hits the ground? If so, we are done and won't see another flake. That seems unlikely but I can't explain how else there is nothing falling when radar looks so good.

It’s been stated repeatedly in this thread that you cannot rely on the radar for this kind of event.

Anyone know if it’s going to snow here?

Btw, hey Osteen do you live in CCL?

ETA: Bert at the Texaco said you’re a loser.

My lights have flickered a few times this evening. FML if we lose power. I have about 15 logs left outside for the fireplace

Still sleeting but I had to step outside to see/hear it. I thought it had ended but I just couldn't see it. Surprised this never went to all snow, even though it did change over for 10 minutes or so. If this had changed and stayed we could have gotten nice totals but I guess it will end up only being a trace afterall. Damn you, Shingleton.

I ran to the gas station about 30 min ago and the state troopers were throwing out road flares on the highland exit to close it. I figured there had been a wreck
