NWS Lake Charles is live on FB right now. A guy commented that his heater was broke in his car. The NWS met said to start a fire in the back of his car.

There’s nothing dangerous about a small fire in your car. Just don’t use seasoned logs and keep a bucket of water handy.

Looking at the radar it appears the snow line is beginning to advance southward. Look around Lafayette in the last few frames.

Hardest snow so far. It’s not super heavy but it’s more than a flurry. I guess me and weather bug have different definitions of heavy snow.
