I guess me and weather bug have different definitions of heavy snow.
Heavy snow is WET snow... The snow anyone gets this go around will be A DRY snow...... Which means fluffy and light.... Still a bitch to drive in......
Cause you get more ice with A dry snow.....

That doesn't mean there's ice on the roads.

Sounds like we are in for record heat outside and the temps have been vastly overstated.

One of the reasons why everyone shuts down
Its bad enough people can't drive on a sunny day but if you add in 20 or 30 degree weather, rain and ice, is bumper cars central
We haven't even experienced the bad stuff yet

I just saw exactly ONE sleet pellet rolling down my roof. The rest is a fine mist.

And now the Audubon Bridge connecting Pointe Coupee and West Feliciana parishes is shut down, inconveniencing tens of people.

I'm near Highland and Jefferson too. Heavy mist right now. It won't be long now until it starts freezing on everything.

First proper bit of precip sliding into the BR area now. Might see an ice pellet or two even.

Just took Highland from bluebonnet to I-10, no ice that I saw or drove through
