Personally, I don't believe in life after death, I believe whenever a person dies, that person doesn't go to heaven or hell, he or she just doesn't exist anymore. I did find an interesting article on this subject that was written in 2014 that I would like to share. Normally, I would've posted the article in the thread, but its pretty long.

the only "science" that happens is the decomposition of the body.

"Well, he's in a better place." If that were true, we would rejoice when a loved one dies. But, we don't because deep down we all know dead means dead.

Not necessarily. Even for the religious that believe that their loved one is in heaven, they grieve because they miss the person.

What a miserable outlook on life. I bet you are fun to be around

I don't see the connection between not believing in the afterlife and not being fun to be around.

One could argue the opposite. "This is the only chance we get, better make the most of it."

I'll just go ahead and pray and believe and ask for forgiveness what not. Just to be on the safe side...

Everyone is free to or not to. I never force my dogma on anyone else though. That's some irritating bullshite.

It can actually be the opposite of a miserable outlook on life.

Not really, I live my life like there's no tomorrow. Whenever I don't have family obligations in the way, I cut loose whenever I can.

Is it really believing if you're doing it "just to be on the safe side"?

Also, if you're looking for the best odds, you may want to take up the Muslim religion.

Dr. Raymond Moody was one of my patients, and we had some of the most wonderful conversations about the matter.
