Pretty weird, but NOLA.com had a little article today on the beautiful old Garden District home that is owned by an LLC that Beyonce owns. Someone noticed that is completely blurred out on Google maps. It has a relatively interesting history, actually.

Just thought this was a little of interest.

She was seen trying to get in to beg for $$$.

Really easy with political or financial power.

There are several scrubbed areas around the world. My favorite is the one outside of Chernobyl where they towed a bunch of radioactive vehicles to. Government got Google to put a white blotch over it because the locals were going there and using it as a part salvage lot.

I did it with mine.

1. Go to Google Maps and enter your home address
2. Enter into Street View mode by dragging the small yellow human-shaped icon, found in the bottom-right corner of the screen, onto the map in front of your house
3. With your house in view, click "Report a problem" in the bottom-right corner of the screen
4. Center the red box on your home, and select "My home" in the "Request blurring" field
5. Write in the provided field why you want the image blurred (for example, you may be concerned about safety issues)
6. Enter in your email address, and click "Submit"

It's hilarious how europe doesn't have suburbs. It goes straight from urban to rural hard lined. You have people living on the edge of these cities with miles of farmland behind them. It's kind of nice in some aspect but also I'm sure pretty limiting to the people that like that in between of a suburb.
