Betty is the coolest

For years, Betty worked at Wendys. Betty is a black lady in her 60s who takes care of two grandchildren. She and I have become good friends as I frequented the Wendy’s drive thru many times the last several years. I noticed the last few times I went she was gone. I asked the lady at the window a few months ago where she was and she said she retired.
Today I was going through the drive through at McDonald’s and much to my surprise, Betty was there! We talked and she called me sugar and asked how my family was, I told her I was glad she worked here so I could see her. Betty is the hardest working person I know and a true people person. We all need to be more like Betty. My day is officially made now.
TL;DR- We’re getting Betty back!!!

This post warmed my heart because it's very sweet and I like how you wanted to voice your appreciation for Betty.
It also makes me sad, though, because Betty had to go back to work after retiring. :( She deserves to enjoy the rest of her years, so I truly hope she went back to work because she loved and missed it, and not because she had no other option.
Betty sounds lovely, and so do you.

I’m 155 pounds and fairly active so I’m good. McDonald’s people are more the heart of America than Whole Foods hipster, soy suckers.

Betty is no model, her beauty is her cheerful attitude and devotion to give smiles and kindness to hungry commoners such as myself.
