A friend of mine has an opportunity to move for a couple years for work. His options are Atlanta, St Louis, Portland Oregon, and Minneapolis. Which of these fine towns would the OT choose?

I'm in Atlanta(Johns Creek) for work right now. Nice place but traffic is horrible! Lived in MO for several years and I'm not a big STL fan. So I'd have to say Portland.

Of those choices, Portland followed by Mineapolis.

The winters in Minnesota are the deal breaker.

Anybody who would choose to live ANYWHERE in minnesota over atlanta, all other things (like salary and whatnot) equal, is an idiot. Like for real...is not mentally balanced.

It's better than anywhere in Minnesota.

How recently have you been here btw?

I'd choose Portland as I've never been.

Basically what LACounty said. Minnesota is too cold and automatically ruled out. P

Minneapolis is one of the best cities in the US to live in. Cold winters aren't that big of a deal for most people.

Minneapolis is way better than Atl.

Portland is awesome. St. Louis sucks. Atl is meh. Minneapolis is awesome.
