Guess we're pretty bored...

Couple of friends claim they would do it for a year for the right return. I say they're full of it. We are talking it's the only vehicle they can drive for any daily task. Work commute. Grocery Store. Dinner. School to pick up kids. If single, dates. You name it.

Could you do it and what would be the bet pay off you would need?

I’d need to be given an RV to start.

Yes, and I would live in that motherfricker and save a ton of money doing it.

Remember to drive it above 70mph to save gas. Very important.

Could do it if I had to, but Im fairly certain Ill never be in that position. If I was going to do this, Id just want to live in it for the year to save on rent. The bet pay off would have to be substantial and include all gas for the RV.

well that's not part of it. You still have your same home or rental.

That's what I told them. Hell, where do you park it at night?

I live in a downtown metro and generally only drive to travel. I could walk or uber in the rare case I do in town driving.

Sounds preferable, honestly

Easily

My only issue would be parking at my place. Driving to work would be fairly easy

Is Uber not allowed?

If I had to live/commute in an RV for a year without any other vehicle, I'd just Uber to most places.

Maybe I didn't explain enough. It's the only mode of transportation. Uber trips, bicycles, whatever are all out for a year. My bad. Literally, if you have to go to the cleaners or CVS, even if a mike away, you're taking the Winnebago

Would be easy. Just give me some fuel card to at least cover the extra fuel cost. Allow me to keep it at the end of the year. No further bet pay off required. Parking is no issue for me.

It wasn’t a 36 footer but a friend of mine drove one of those 1-ton vans with the camper body as his daily driver for several years. That thing had to be 24 - 26 feet long.

If I was allowed to live at the camp instead of my house I could do it. I'd do it for $50k, why not

My wife is always late for everything. I have offered to buy an RV so we can leave on time and she can continue to get ready. I already drive a Suburban so what’s another 10’.

If it’s nice, that’s an awesome date.

Drive her out somewhere peaceful, have a fire, cook her a nice dinner, then retire to the shaggin wagon
