What’s the quickest and easiest way to get rid of a used vehicle if I’m not buying a new one. By “quick” I mean like something similar to a trade-in where I can just drop it off and get a check. I don’t want to fart with dealing with multiple potential private buyers and be negotiating. I recognize this means I’ll not get as much as I otherwise could have for it…that said, I want to get as much as I can.

I’ve got no prior experience with CarMax, Carvana, and stuff like that…are those good options? Any others? I’ve only ever dealt with dealers and private sales with AutoTrader.

This is a 2015 Toyota Highlander with ~135k miles.

Carmax probably your best bet if you don’t wanna leave it in New Orleans east with the keys in it running

Carmax or Carvana will be your best bet if you want the no hassle fricking that you're about to get. Vroom is also an option.

Man it’s a yoda. I’d be really surprised if you couldn’t look up fair market value and post an ad somewhere and be done in a day or two with little haggling if you are reasonable.

I still have a 2005 4Runner and it’s amazing. Best car I’ve ever had. I’m terrible on maintenance too. I’m gonna give this to my kid.

Maybe that changed but I believe that Toyota makes a solid arse vehicle. I think most people think this.

It’s like I bought a grocery & kid hauling friendly terminator.

I don’t know shite about a Highlander though.

I mean you're not gonna get what it's worth, but the dealer will buy it from you

My buddy just got rid of his on givemethevin.com, they were 6K higher than the dealer offered him. It was gone the next day after he contacted them.

Drive to any car dealership and go to the used car department and tell them you want to sell your car. It’s really not difficult.

I sold one to Texas Direct Auto a few years ago. They’ll give you a quick online quote and you basically go drop it off at one of their sites. A mechanic will give it a 10 minute look over and they cut you a check.

Pretty fair too considering.
