Well I currently reside in Hattiesburg, MS and have always dreamed about moving back to Louisiana one day (was born in Alexandria but haven't been back in years). What's the best places to live? I've lived in Monroe and have a good bit of family there but have always wondered where else is good to live within Gods country

Alexandria sucks. Mississippi sucks. Louisiana sucks.

Move to Texas. Thank me later

I do have family that lives in McAllen and Victoria. Victoria is really nice. San Antonio is beautiful too. Girlfriend has family over in Dallas and Austin so I've given a thought about it one day

See I used to be obsessed with moving up north to some big city but personally, I like the comfort of Louisiana. Idk I just like (most) of the people and there's just so much beauty in the state that you can't find anywhere else. Like tiger stadium.

Hattiesburg is one of the few places in MS that might be bearable to live. I'd much rather be there than Alexandria and Monroe is defiinitely not an upgrade either. If you want to live in a city like New Orleans, go for it. but if you have kids to raise, I'd stick w/ Hattiesburg.

a lot of people are gonna hate on me for this but honestly any of the 4 bigger cities along I-10 have there good things and bad things(nola, Br, Laffy, LC)

Honestly bang for buck wise, Laffayette is prolly the best. Traffic sucks, but not as bad as BR and crime is non exsistent compared to Nola. LC has an amazing economy right now.

It really depends on what you are looking for. being from SW LA I will say there is just something different about SE LA and I prefer the people and the semi different culture there and If i was going to move from LC to somewhere else in LA it would be north shore or laffy area.

See I've lived in Hattiesburg for 13 years and it's taking a turn to say the least. Not in a bad way, just very overcrowded. Been looking to get out once I finish undergrad
