Go to Metairie to the Bengal or Hurricanes on weekend band nights.
Bring the cigs for them and have the dressy jeans on for those classy women.

there used to be a place in Metry years ago, that was like shooting fish in a barrel, can't recall the name right now but it had like a 50s-60s retro theme(which might explain its attraction )

ETA: Chevy's?

Nah, it made it to the early 90s. A buddy of mine and I watched the start of Operation Desert Storm there on TV.

What was the place that was sort of in the area of where the Metarie Whole Foods is? It was like a white building with white columns.

I think the place you are talking about was called Legends in Metairie. It is not far from Whole Foods. Legends is gone. Its a restaurant now, I think.

Many cougars prowled that place back in the day.

that place was incredible, all you really had to do was sit down, order a drink and wait( and not be a doorknob,) the first time I ever went there, I was sitting at a table with a friend and a waitress comes up with a a bottle of champagne and a couple of glasses, points to a table of two smokin' women and says "compliments of the ladies"

Rowbears used to be a target rich environment too, used to go there after Saints games
