there used to be a place in Metry years ago, that was like shooting fish in a barrel, can't recall the name right now but it had like a 50s-60s retro theme(which might explain its attraction

What was the place that was sort of in the area of where the Metarie Whole Foods is? It was like a white building with white columns.

I think the place you are talking about was called Legends in Metairie. It is not far from Whole Foods. Legends is gone. Its a restaurant now, I think.
