Think along the lines where a service was rendered (vet, grocery store, fast food restaurant, retail store, etc.) and what made it remarkable to you, even if cost is more than their competitor down the street.

Who stands out in Baton Rouge area? And why?

I don't really know the perception of the company but after Katrina Conn's was awesome helping me get appliances and a tv for my rental in Baton Rouge. They either beat or price matched everything and the delivery guys were awesome. If I lived there they'd have a lifetime customer.

I second the chick fil a posts, and will add that Canes is doing fine in that dept as well.

I also find the Backpacker folks are always friendly and helpful when venturing outdoors for new things.

If you have pets and live in downtown Dallas - Rutherford Veterinary Clinic in the Fair Park area. Been there for decades. Awesome people... State of the art equipment in an old, old building. Great people.

ChickFila Millerville has drive through down to a science. I can't remember a time I've waited in line there longer than 2 - 3 minutes even during lunch hours.

What is "it" that stands out every time you go to LeBlanc's?

What are they doing differently than say Albertson's, Winn Dixie or Wal-Mart Neighborhood Grocery?

Popeye's in Watson. Clean, friendly service, no long wait times. Not your usual Popeye's experience.

O'Reilly's is the only one that stands out recently. I went there for a lawn mower battery and they wanted like $60. I had already pulled up the price on Walmart.com for the battery I needed but didn't feel like driving all the way there. I told the salesman that Walmart had their brand of battery for $20 so I'd just go there. He told me to wait and went to talk to his manager. The manager asked to see the Walmart price on my phone then told the sales guy to sell me the battery for $20.

Not BR... in da LP.

I have never waited in line more than 2-3 minutes even during peak times. Every register is open and the people greet you.

Went to neighborhood Walmart one night very late. One register was open. Waited 10-15 minutes in line with 3 people in the store and the cashier had a piss poor attitude and was complaining about stuff. I will never go back.

Costco always has good customer service. I was shocked how good it was when they came to Nola. But the pay they receive must make the difference.
