The 3 you mentioned are funny, but best alive? And all the love for Louis CK is lost on me. Yeah, he's funny, but he has the same type of joke and delivery constantly "look at me, I'm 40, divorced, and masturbate". I love his T shows and do think he's funny. Same for Gaffigan, I like them, but it's the same joke. Brian Reagan is definitely funny as well, but I've never understood some of the love he gets here.

I'd have a very hard time coming up with the "best". I get in different moods. Mitch was my favorite (can't believe he's been gone that long). Now it's just a bunch of guys I think are good. I'll have to listen to some stand up on Pandora this morning now.

They are my favorites, and generally I think stand up is stupid anyways. They are the ones that actually stand out to me and could listen to them any time.

I think Louis is really funny but way too vulgar up watch with my wife.

Russell Brand's Messiah Complex is probably one of my favorite shows of all time.

Maybe 25 years ago. Saying that now would be like saying Larry Bird is the best living basketball player.

If Larry Bird could go out and post a triple double on anyone in the league, then yeah.

I don't understand the love for Louis C.K. How many fart/poop jokes do you people need in your lives?

I think it's more like saying Michael Jordan is the best living basketball player. In his prime Eddie Murphy was better than anybody out there today who is alive. That makes him the best living comedian.

I wasn't talking to you, so I should have clarified. I was talking to the board.

He does just do a lot of kind of crude jokes, but his "suck a bag of dicks" joke gets me every time.

"Is it like a bag of chicken pieces all gooey and stuff in a plastic bag, or is it like a paper bag of French baguettes with them all sticking out the top? Do you want me to suck each one, or do you want me to suck on the bag itself?"
