Steve Martin and Eddie Murphy are pretty clearly at the top. But comparing them is apples to oranges. Very distantly there's Chris Rock and Louis C.K.

Brian Regan definitely gets serious consideration. As does Burr, Oswalt and Doug Stanhope.
