The whole Strip was fun in the 90's. There was also an after hours nightclub halfway to New Iberia called The Intersection that I used to go to. One night, a huge brawl broke out because the featured rapper, a guy named 'Puff Daddy,' didn't show up for his performance. That was the very first time I ever heard that name.

Early 2000s Poets, The Keg, and Nite Town. The one behind Graham Central Station near the recruiting stations was hot for a while. I forgot the name, but they would dance on the bar there. I guess Cowboys is considered a Nightclub ,but my experience with Cowboys is it is either a great crowd where you have a great time or the trailer park rolls in deep and it turns into a shitshow. The Plaza wasn't that bad the few times I went.

Probably referring to Ray’s. Cool place with decent food. Now called Fast Eddies.

I vote for late 80s the strip, early 90s Poets, and a good time could be had at the Yellow Rose (anyone remember that one? Now Rabeaux’s Auto Sales).

I get it that Kingfish was truly legendary, but I never made it out there.

It has been several things. They had a pool hall named Fast Eddie's. 2-3 restaurants, and now it looks like a Latin Bar now. I can't remember the name of that place ,but I was a senior in high school and we would end up there before I left for Basic Training in Jan 04. It was closed when I came back home on leave. I can't remember the name ,but it would get packed in there and it was a good crowd.

The "What would you do for $100?" Contest was insane. They would lock the doors at midnight and pretty crazy shite would go down inside

There is no way in hell that shite would fly in today's camera phone world

If in the service industry, Max's pool hall was fun after last call.
