Well since you just had a HUGE debate about it why don't you enlighten everybody with your choice for Supreme South East Region King Cake?

You're gonna get a thousand different answers cuz there's no one answer that'd be correct. It depends on each individual's taste. Please have you post deleted and stop asking stupid questions.

My wife is convinced Calandros makes a good king cake. I’m convinced she’s never had a good king cake.

This guy has never had a Randazzo’s/Haydel’s king cake.

And Meche’s doesn’t make king cake. They make a giant doughnut.

I’m old school and loved the McKenzies king cakes, maybe it’s nostalgia, but I haven’t found another one anything like what I remember. I also love a Randazzo cake and have to get one every year. With that said, best cake in NOLA right now is the dong Phuong cake.

Louisiana has virtually nothing going for it except food.

Just let them have this win.

You probably enjoy fresh seafood from Joe's Crab Shack and Red Lobster.

My vote goes to Manny Randazzos with Haydel's as a close second. If you want one shipped, Haydel's does the best job.

Haydel's is great---their Cajun Kringle is legit too.

A little different from everyone else but THEE HEAVENLY DONUT makes one that tastes like warm bread pudding when you heat it up.

She’s good people. She also sells Manny Randazzo cakes in her stores instead of Haydel’s

Meche's king cakes are just a big donut...nothing special about them.

In the Lafayette area...I'd say Keller's Amaretto Walnut Cream Cheese is one and Crystal Weddings Praline and Cream Cheese is a very close second.
