I’m fond of Thibodaux.

St. Francisville might qualify. It’s probably nicer, but also smaller, more rural, and less “hidden” regarding its gem status.

I agree but Valdosta is still not Thomasville when it comes to the scene and the people if you live there. I love it because I can be here in NF and be there at the farm in three hrs and get off the grid. Wake up and go into town which is old school but has some really cool spots on Main.
