House of Shock did close. However, several donors paid for them to reopen. The added the resurrection part of it to honor that it was actually dead and shut down.

I have free tickets to the 13th Gate tonight. Anyone know if the set up is any different than last year?
I've been several times, and they usually change it up a little bit but a lot of the same attractions year to year, like the wooly mammoth has been there for years.
