If you want an egg type, get the chargriller. $300 and works exactly the same. Had both, no difference between them

Recteq, hands down.
I can't speak for other brands, but this was the consensus when I bought mine 5 years ago. Still going strong, and I use it at least once a week. I've had a Green Egg for 20 years, still use it for searing, and a few other things. Makes a great compliment to the pellet grill.

Pellet smokers are ok to good at everything (great lazy man’s hot dog smoker) but great at nothing. “Best grill” is subjective…. But I’m fond of my Primo XL and separate stick smoker. If I’m going to smoke meat, by god I’m going to smoke it, pun intended.

I like Webber, but just bought a Blackstone and I think I’m going to use it a lot more than I did the grill.

I’ve always had Weber Grills, but decided to try Victory Grills made right here in Louisiana. Extremely happy with the decision!

Just bought a new house, looking to upgrade my grill game.

I’ve looked at traeger and green eggs.

All I’ve ever used is a small Weber charcoal grill.

Not looking to spend an arm and a leg, but am comfortable around 1500 on the top end.

What’s the OT suggest?

I grill almost every day. I have used a Green Egg, a knockoff Green egg, a PK Grill and a large Weber Kettle.

Id say the Weber Kettle(22 in) is your best bet. Get the best one at Lowes, HD etc. Also pick up the charcoal baskets. If you have that, there is nothing you cant grill amazing meat with.

The PK is superior at smoking food but if you are serious about low and slow cooking a lot(all above grills can do) id go with a separate smoker.

Weber is just easiest to use, well built, portable and not gonna break your bank. I can cook a fantastic ribeye on it. I also smoke/grill wings on it quite often. In a cook for a large group situation, its gonna be easier to manage all your burgers, chicken, wings, dogs, etc than the other grills.

Both my friend. Im a freak that eats nothing but steak/eggs every day. Grill the steaks on Kettle, 6 over medium eggs on Blackstone. In a cook for large group situation, I can churn out burgers like crazy on Blackstone or Kettle(sometimes both)

Weber off Facebook. No way I'm shelling out 500+ for a grill

I just got a blackstone and love it but don’t have a ton of ideas. What are you making?

Been married since 06/1991 to the same woman, and only 2 grills, both Weber, last one being a Genesis NG grill w/side burner. Gets used probably 3x weekly including today. Can’t recommend anything else.

Pretty accurate, but I think PK is a better grill than Weber. Weber is more convenient with the ash clean out.

That said, I just bought a BGE so it'll be getting all the use for the foreseeable future

I use my Weber natural gas grill 3 times a week. Easy, never need to worry about refill, start up to cooking 5-10 minutes. Also have Pit Boss pellet smoker for long smokes. Use that 1-3 times a month, depending.
