I remember when Jindal ran against Blanco, he was like this anointed republican savior. Then he gets the gig and knocks it out of the park. Then gets re-elected and so epically fricks shite up, it’s this amazing paradox.

My pick is Foster. He quietly came in and did his job efficiently.

I remember you were one of the biggest sky screamers over Vitter being a big meanie head that likes the call girls a little bit too much.

Meanwhile the guy you voted for in JBE has Louisiana last in all of the wrong metrics, is doubling down on that though high taxation and red tape and is holding the economy and many people's jobs hostage during the Chinese virus.

Did you honestly think elections wouldn't have consequences?

The minute I saw you you in this thread, I knew you'd mention me. First of all, nothing in my post references Diaper Vitter. Second off, he was a hypocrital scumbag who allegedly had a diaper fetish and a very much confirmed sleazy madam chasing/serial wife cheater. As much as you'd hate to admit it, JBE's first term wasn't all that bad when you consider the financial hole he was left to climb out of. David Shitter would be in the same boat except our tax money would be also inadvertently going to somebody to clean him with a wet wipe.

Nice melt.

It absolutely did not disappoint at all. Great job.

Look at you talking about this while JBE right now is holding hostage our economy, jobs, means to provide for our families and the full ability to live our lives.

Just how tone deaf and stupid are you?

The bar is so low disturbingly low with you.

JBE tried to tax and spend his way out of it and he's still in that same hole because the jobs and companies are leaving elsewhere and his high tax, high spending and red tape policies are what makes sure there is no chance coming back as long he is Governor.

And now he's trying to keep the shutdown going for as long as he can to get as much bailout money he can get from the feds.

frick that. Louisiana made its bed with high tax and high spending polices and it needs to lay down in it. And you voted for those indefensible policies by the way.

No bailout for honor code, our RINOs and liberals.

When given a choice between a second term for Roemer (who had done a decent job dealing with the economic issues of the late 80s, all things considered), a known crook in Edwards, and David freaking Duke, this state went with the crook and the clansman for the runoff.

Heh. But I'm melting? Look, I'm not thrilled with the quarantine either. But considering LA has had 27 thousand confirmed cases (2000 more than Texas, 21k more than both Mississippi and Alabama) is it really THAT surprising that the governor would extend a stay-at-home order for an additional 2 weeks?

Further, JBE was elected because the brain-dead, retarded LAGOP goons like yourself thought Diaper Dave was a viable candidate. If for whatever reason people would have been able to get over that and elect him, what do you think he'd have done differently than Jindal was doing in his last term?

I don't like taxes either but there's absolutely no chance that cutting taxes in a state that had already been slashed to the bone would have gotten anything back on track. If he was doing such a horrendous job, Eddie voters (myself included) would have managed to get him out of there. What happened?

But Vitter would have had us in a utopia, right?

By the way, stop stalking me. You want to continue jacking off to everything I say, keep it on the poli-board, you fricking weirdo..

Like asking "Best State out of AR, MS, WV, & LA?"

I thought/hoped Foster would be but he coasted his first term and was downright comatose his second term.

So I pick: (J) None of the Above

It's not even close. I loved it when he did away with the helmet law.

It's hard to believe in this day and age we had Duke and Edwards in a run off.

"Not thrilled"

This lockdown is crushing our economy and is costing thousands of families their means of providing an income to put food on the table, clothe their kids and send them to school.

And you're "not thrilled"?

The data shows that it's clear that our hospitals and health systems are clearly not being overwhelmed at this point in time.

The lockdown was supposed to prevent that overwhelming. That job is done.

And thus the shut down order should be terminated right now.

You're literally arguing against data if you argue otherwise.

Not being an absentee deadbeat Governor that just constantly mailed it in.

quote:

Or we could cut the massive spending that that's beyond inappropriate for a state of only 4 million while we have a budget that's comparable to a small African country?

If you saw how many commissions and boards the Governor has control of, you would be disgusted.

We can't afford all this government.

Rispone fricked over the rednecks and expected them to play ball afterwords like the politically ignorant moron he was.

His slander of Ralph Abraham was an election losing mistake and something I loudly protested at the time and warned that JBE was going to make a lot of hay with in North Louisiana and I wound up being correct.

Never piss off voters you will need later.

Blanco was a good woman and a good person that never should have been the governor. Period.
