The Cheeburger Cheeburger chain has/had the best shakes. Grub Burger has a kicking mint chocolate chip shake.

The 5 dollar shake from Jack Rabbit Slims. I don't know if it's worth five dollars, but it's pretty fricking good.

Two family ice cream stands in the 'Sip, Spencers in Grenada and Staffords in West Point. As far as fast food chains, Cookout is probably the best. Honorable mention to Chick-fil-et. If we are adding in ice cream other than shakes, then Sonics and DQ.

The chocolate malt at DQ or Whatabutger are hard to beat. The strawberry shake at Wataburger is also good.

Rax roast beef restaurants had shakes that was amazing. The franchise is long gone but, they were fantastic as were their roast beef sandwiches.
