Another night I stopped by it was over winter break and all the lights were on and a few of the staff were in the front room drinking and I walked in and said what's wrong looks like someone died in here, couple hours before they had found the owner dead inside, freaky

Sounds kind of shady

Scariest memory was watching Katrina's cone if doom center over New Orleans as a Cat 5 that Friday night. Scary/drunk weekend.

I was having lunch with friends there and watched the floodwaters from Katrina overtop the canal levee. It started as a trickle, and became a torrent. We were commenting about how bad it would get.

Mine was Sunday afternoons. Drive back to BR in a caravan of 10-15 pos cars from North LA for them $2 pitchers of Busch and free sandwich 1/4’s.

Perfect way to end the week and get ready for Monday.

The Caterie. Ahhhh. Used to own folks on the Foosball tables up top. By far best spot in BR. Sad it's gone. Fried Cheese is legendary.

Used to go often to see Spank the Monkey and Liquid Sand.
I saw Vanilla Ice perform there. Actually a decent show.

The memory I talk about most, was some Regae type band was playing and two chicks got on the bar and took their tops off. They didn't let it last long. It was a wild night. The tall bartender guy from 2000 to mid 2000's was always cool with me.

I wonder what the name “Caterie” was derived from?

I remember around 96 or so telling all my friends about the smoking hot girl that was in one of my sociology classes at LSU that I was trying hard to talk to but couldn’t even get to first base. One night we walk into the Caterie and she’s singing onstage, my first time to hear Alison Collins.

I also remember being completely shitfaced upstairs with one of my friends and we kept pissing between the pinball machines. Later on, we walked downstairs and the piss was very obviously running down from the ceiling on the back wall. Oops!
