I'm glad someone else started this thread.. Was contemplating it this morning.. I've been wearing Ralph Lauren and Banana Republic for a while now.. and feel it's time for a change. Not in a suit and tie job environment, so biz casual is normal..

My Ralph shirts are really soft but wrinkle like crazy..
Banana stuff stays nicely wrinkle free , but isn't nearly as soft..

Been looking at Vineyard Vines and Southern Marsh
BB seems a bit to formal for my personal taste.. Gitman can be found a Mclavy's and seems a bit oldmanish any suggestions?

Just started wearing BB slim fit shirts, they are great and you can catch them on sale throughout the year. I like the French Cuffs by the way

Ditto on the BB Slim Fit.

If you want something you can buy at a store (assuming you don't have a BB) and a little more affordable, I have been happy with Banana Republic's dress shirts as well.

Mizzen+main. Dry-fit dress shirts. Awesome shirts. Anyone in NELA can get them at Hemline.

Eagle wrinkle-free. I hate ironing and dealing with the cleaners.

1901 makes nice, slim and trim fit shirts for about $50 a pop.

Are you looking for nicer brands?

BB makes the best every day dress shirt. Wrinkle free slim fit FTMFW

I still think polo makes the best polo style shirt, however I don't really wear them often.

I like JCrew for a good casual summer long sleeve tutor down.
Brooks brothers as well.

Every now and then you can find the right Tommy Bahama.

Thomas pink, Ike behar, gittman bros, Scott barber, the list goes on. Stay away from shirts w/ logos on them ie pole, souther tide etc unless you ment sport shorts

Agreed on the logos. If a logo is on it, it likely has no reason to have a tie around its collar.

Does anyone dart their shirts? It seems the only way I can even get a slim fit to look right.

I'm not sure he wants to spend 300+ for a shirt.

Otherwise Ledbury is what you seek.

A little cheaper would be Scott Barber
