If David Thomas still practices, I would call him.
David is a good guy and worked under Don Kneipp so I’m sure he’s top notch at this point in his career

Yes, because all kids deserve to live in toxic households. What kids don't want two Christmases?

That area has been going down hill since AJ's Superstore stopped holding it down

I'm sure some of you guys know them. Are they not as portrayed on TV?
They're not phonies but they play up certain things.

You people grossly overestimate the value of a woman’s face

I know they are. I responded to a guy who said that both of the lawyers in an old case had died. That’s why I asked if it was Al and Don
My b. Guess I didn’t pay close enough attention. It was weird that Don’s last chapter of his career was the “chief defender” i.e. head guy in the 2nd JDC office of public defender. Not weird as in some sort of shenanigans going on, just weird as in he just wasn’t ever really perceived as a criminal law practice type guy…..then seemingly out of nowhere - head public defender. Anyhow, RIP to both. They were very nice men outside of being “on the record” either in court or in deposition.

They were and were actually very good friends. Both phenomenal lawyers and generous men. I guess they could afford to be with all the money they cost people though lol

My ex-wife hired both of them. Fired them both when they couldn't "win" for her. I think she is on her 6th or 7th attorney now.

You can without annulling the marriage if that previous marriage happened in a hotel or whatever and not in a church. Source = me.

i never met Don Kneipp. The performance of both of these arse clowns in and out of the courtroom was so bad that the judge came out into the hall in his robes to apologize to the wife for the actions of the lawyers in court....twice.
in a settlement conference wife said "i will never co-own anything with husband." lawyers meet, come up with a stipulation, and as they're reading it into the record and telling the judge it deals with all assets, wife says "you didn't address the stock." Lawyers shush her, since they decided to simply ignore her.
when the judgment had not be submitted by the return date, W's attorney was found down the hall, and H's attorney refused to come to court because they were at a child's school thanksgiving party. The judge ordered them to appear, with threat of sending a deputy to bring them to the courtroom.
at a hearing first thing Monday morning, H's attorney complains that they cannot move forward without promised discovery responses. Wife's attorney "Oh, yeah, i faxed them to you...Sunday night late...67 pages."
Eventually, both lawyers were fired, and failed to collect all of their unpaid fees. I believe both were sanctioned by the judge, and i know he forbade the use of fax transmission in the case. the parties worked it out in about an hour by themselves. i drafted the judgment.
